Presentation: This first collection on this website, shows a series of illustrations resulting from my work in graphic art. Unlike my professional work that is formally presented at xativasite.com, most of the following pieces have been freely created; They have not been subjected to restrictions, budgets, delivery dates or other conditions. Beyond the development of techniques, the concepts, the message and the originality are the values ​​that take on the greatest prominence, resulting in surprising and impressive images loaded with symbology…

They have been created using the ballpoint pen as the main drawing tool for inking and combine traditional illustration with a final digital composition; present a strong surreal character as they are influenced by the work of masters such as Hieronymus Bosch, Salvador Dalí, M.C. Escher or H.R. Giger. In contrast to my optimistic mindset and positive attitude, my graphic art in many cases have a sinister approach but without dramatization, applying touches of black humor and bright or pastel colors, in critical scans of life’s tragicomedy. In my work there is a critical but humorous spirit, both in the pieces contained in this website, but also in my caricatures of digital illustration and political satire of Caricaturasibiza. Pop art is also included, influenced by comics and my advertising career.

I started drawing these illustrations as a hobby, by vocation. Later, with the adaptation of the acquired learning, they have subsequently had various professional outings in my career, such as working for 4 years for the company El Señor Miyagi as the brand’s only illustrator or drawing caricatures with Caricaturasibiza, published over 10 years in Ibiza’s local newspapers such as El Mundo, El Diario de Ibiza and Prensa Pitiusa. I also have had the opportunity to draw and publish several comics, among which Merlin, The Return of Magic stands out. Large-format reproductions of these pieces have been exhibited in cultural centers and entertainment venues of Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Benicàssim and Castelló de la Plana (Spain)

At this moment I am using this website as a complement to my illustration portfolio and 3D animation demoreel, to present my work to the public and for the presentation of my services to companies that require impressive images and animations.
