Mixed illustration – Ballpoint pen inking, digital colors and effects
With my free surreal illustrations I always try to create rich pieces in messages and details. This could be due to the influence of my advertising studies, that makes me think about the message that has to be sent and take the target audience into consideration. With this piece I would like to make spectators think about those parts of the universe that still are misterious for us. Why do we look at the stars and dream about alien forms of life when we already have aliens in our planet? Now a days still come from the deppest parts of the ocean creatures that have never been known or studied by science. They have weird bodies and antennae! And even better, we have a small part of the unknown universe inside our skulls… A swimming girl was included in the composition to realize that this abyssal zombie fish is giant by proportions comparison. She also gives a breath taking shock and a surrealistic touch: How did this girl got to the bottom of the abbys? Is she an astronaut or is she food?
