I was born in Madrid in 1976, discovered soon my vocation and developed my self-taught ability to draw. Fascinated by comics and the 80’s rock album covers, I start illustrating taking these as a reference and reproducing my favorite drawings. With the popularization of technological media in art, I make my first digital illustrations using a mixed technique of manual illustration, which after being scanned, I color and postproduce with the computer mainly using Photoshop and Freehand. I graduated in advertising and public relations at the Complutense University of Madrid, to apply my creativity and give a greater variety of professional outings to my graphic creativity. I simultaneously study 3D with the first versions of Cinema 4D in a self-taught way, but I have formalized my studies in 3D animation with a master’s degree in motion graphics from CICE New Technologies Professional School (Madrid).
My work is inspired by surrealism, pop art, comics, fallas art, music, anime and cinema. Interest on tribal cultures, the mysteries of zoology and other natural wonders, spiritual orientations, parts in our mind and our planet that have not yet been explored… Impressive works are then born with strong formal and conceptual contrast, with an exploratory and critical nature, which in many cases reflect the universal equilibrium and disequilibrium created by the confrontation between opposite poles. Below I present an collage that includes some influential graphic artists and movements in my artwork. An exercise during the master’s degree in motion graphics that I studied with CICE
